Summary

Eight phage species and type viruses are proposed. They belong to theMyoviridae, Siphoviridae, andPodoviridae families of tailed phages and are characterized by a combination of morphological and physicochemical properties. An unusual siphovirus species has an elongated head and transverse tail disks.
