Outcomes of surgery for post-cholecystectomy bile duct injuries: An audit from a tertiary referral center
2020, Journal of Visceral SurgeryCitation Excerpt :Initial excellent result may be blurred by delayed development of stricture. A majority of recurrent stricture appear within two years of the primary reconstructive surgery but strictures have been reported as late as 17 years after hepaticojejunostomy, emphasizing the need for prolonged follow-up before pronouncing any procedure as success [27,28]. In our study, the median duration of follow-up was 58 months.
