The equivalent 2 Gy dose (EQD2) for this type of plan is 77 Gy [19], for an α/β ratio of 3 Gy for late rectal toxicity [20], and 80 Gy with an α/β ratio of 1.5 Gy for a prostate tumor. The Dose Volume Histogram (DVH) of the dose within the rectum was used for dose comparison between the plan without IRS and the plan with IRS.
