A convenient assay for acyl-CoA-dehydrogenases

A convenient and reliable method is described which allows the continuous measurement of acyl-CoA dehydrogenase activity. The system contains 8-dimethylamino-2,3-benzophenoxazinium chloride (Meldolablau) as primary electron acceptor and iodonitrotetrazolium chloride as terminal oxidant.
