Other imaging features more commonly seen in schwannomas include a fascicular sign on ultrasound or MR imaging, cystic change, and hemorrhage.25 Malignant soft tissue tumors are up to 100 times less common than benign tumors and comprise a wide variety of tumors that vary according to age (see Box 2).26
