Evaluation of cross-protection between O<inf>1</inf> Manisa and O<inf>1</inf> Campos in cattle vaccinated with foot-and-mouth disease virus vaccine incorporating different payloads of inactivated O<inf>1</inf> Manisa antigen
2011, VaccineCitation Excerpt :Bovine vaccinate serum (BVS) prepared at IIL and at WRL-IAH using O1 Manisa monovalent vaccine was used to measure the in vitro relative homology (r1) value of O1 Campos to O1 Manisa vaccine strain. Two dimensional micro neutralization assay (MNT) was performed as per the method described by Rweyemamu and Hingley [15]. Ninety-eight Jersey or Friesian cross bred cattle (10–12 months of age) were obtained from the holding farm of IIL, Hyderabad.
