2014, CollegianCitation Excerpt :The development of questionnaires had several phases. First, preliminary questionnaires on the curriculum, curriculum implementation and teaching methods were developed based on previous similar research in medication education (Latter et al., 2001; Morrison-Griffiths et al., 2002). The selection of the topics in content of medication education on the MEI questionnaire was based on literature of graduating nurses’ medication competence requirements and textbooks of pharmacology in nursing (Bullock, Manias, & Galbraith, 2006; Finnish Ministry of Education, 2006; Sulosaari, Suhonen, & Leino-Kilpi, 2011).
