Prospective observation of filtration blebs in high-risk eyes with limbal-based conjunctival flap
2016, Canadian Journal of OphthalmologyApplication of anterior segment optical coherence tomography in glaucoma
2014, Survey of OphthalmologyCitation Excerpt :This can help in early cases of failure by documenting the need for early intervention. It can also be used to guide and follow patients with operated trabeculectomy for suture lysis.92 It can be used to evaluate the cause of encysted, overfiltering blebs and guide their management (Fig. 25).
Randomized, controlled trial of a sustained delivery formulation of 5-fluorouracil for the treatment of failing blebs
2012, OphthalmologyCitation Excerpt :The bleb was demarcated as follows: A vertical line was drawn through a point at the limbus, a vertical line was drawn through a point 7 mm posterior to the limbus, and a horizontal line through these 2 points was used as a base; the bleb area and height within this section of the bleb were analyzed. Images were obtained on weeks 1 and 12 and analyzed using customized software10,11 for measuring bleb height and area by a single observer (C.Z.) masked to clinical findings. Slit-lamp color photographs of blebs were captured in diffuse illumination mode.
